I’m back…

This blog started simply as an experiment in WordPress. Basically, I needed to be able to know enough about maintaining a blog to counsel clients.

Well, it turns out I actually have some readers. That’s the thing about publishing. You might actually get readers. Then, I turned up in the Where Are They Now? section of the Toronto Star’s tv guide, StarWeek. And I got a ton of visits.

So just to clarify one thing – I’m actually married to Carol. And I do intend to post to this site occasionally. Murph, I know you’ve been following the links on the right. I’ll try and be a little more reliable about updating them.

More to come, and maybe even a redesign…

Stranger on a train…

No time to really write yesterday.

I was travelling to Ottawa and had the pleasure to sit beside a very engaging passenger who was in a similar business. High tech, but from more of an analysis and diagnostic point-of-view. His commentary on Business Plans, utilization of time and company structure was clever and astute. I got no work done – but accomplished a ton in terms of analysis of my own business. Plus, he gave me a mitt-ful of Via First-Class upgrade vouchers. Now we’re talkin’.

The main reason for this post is to gloat. Remember my post about cell phone rings on radio commercials? The New York Times is finally catching up.
