And loving it!
The new “Just write” feature is particularly inspired. Basically it strips the backend of any nonsense, and allows you to focus completely on your composition without any distraction. No tools, no sidebar, no nothing.
Moving your cursor to the top of your screen reveals the formatting bar. Genius.

Happy 4 th of July. Well Late. I am still trying to track down those old Rin Tin Tin K-9 cop epsiodes. I was able to get a few. One of them that I like the best was the old outakes of how they trained the dog. Its pretty cool. I wrote Clay Borris he had some not all. And I got them off of him. I am still on the hunt for them.. I will find them one of these days..
Huge fan of yours Jesse!! I recently came across episodes of Rin Tin Tin K-9 Cop on you tube and I am introducing my children to it.
Thank you! :)
Thank you!! My daughters are 7 and 8 and are watching it as well. Of course some aspects they dont understand but they now want a dog. Lol.. and not just any dog, a greman shepard.
I’m sure you get asked this a lot so I apoligize..but do you ever keep in touch with your old cast mates? I know that the fliming was in Toronto, but where was the setting? I thought I say the Washington Memorial in DC in an episiode but I wasnt 100% sure. Do you ever get a chance to do any more acting or singing?
Thanks again. :)
Hi, Jesse,
There’s a salute to The Prince here: http://wrmilleronline.com/all-hail-the-prince-2/
What a great, funny character you played. “Princes never sweat, and they never cheat.”
With any luck we’ll see him again in the new series. Presumably he’ll be The King.
Best,
Bob
Well, that has absolutely made me laugh a lot and cringe a bit. :) Thanks so much for posting it, Bob. It really was a trip down memory lane. Mostly I remember barely getting through take after take without laughing at the antics of Jim Rankin, the puppeteer for a lot of the characters on that show. It was a great directing experience, and it was always fun to play a character that was so over the top.
Your piece is great! Thanks for sharing,
Jesse
WOW! I cannot believe I stumbled upon Jesse Collins Blog. My brother and I would watch Rin Tin Tin k9 cop every day. We even recorded a lot of episodes. Say, do you know if the series will be released on DVD? I remember a few years back when I lived in LA, I ran into the actor, Dan Martin who played Lou Adams. And, I was like wow… you were on Rin Tin Tin K9 cop! He seemed surprised that there people out there that watched it… haha! But hey… I’m a big fan and always will be!
Dan’s a great guy. We had a lot of laughs back then.
I remember one particular night when Carol and I had just bought our house and had the floors sanded, when it was empty but for a sound system. We had Dan and his wife Ella over and we danced for hours on the new floors.
Good times. :)
Happy Birthday, Jesse!
