Another shot from the Library of Congress

A carpenter at the TVA’s new Douglas dam on the French Broad River, Tennessee.

This photograph is gorgeous. He’s wearing the type of skull bucket that I want to create as the iconographic style for Moxy Webworks.

This dam will be 161 feet high and 1,682 feet long, with a 31,600-acre reservoir area extending 43 miles upstream. With a useful storage capacity of approximately 1,330,000 acre-feet.

    Re. European press …rigged vote.
Far be it from me to pick nits but I don’t think the opinion of one Italian journalist can be said to be representative of all European press. His is also the only report I have read to date that implies rigging. The main bone of contention seems to be the unreliability of the machines themselves. It’s a stretch at best for him to imply chicanery.

I agree. The point was that mainstream media beat the US media to the story. It has been accepted that a recount probably will not change the results of the Primary, but there is a lot of doubt about the reliability of the Diebold machines. And how secure they are. But CNN is too busy talking about nonsense.
