McSweeney's Lists are reknowned for their tongu-in-cheek quality. And this one is particularly bizarre - it's in the spirit of Hallowe'en, of course. If you prefer your lists a little less edgy, check out his <a href="http://www.mcsweeneys.net/links/lists/23BrendonLloyd.html" rel="nofollow">7 Habits of Highly Successful People</a>. It's a favourite of mine. And no one gets eaten. Boy, you conservatives love your censorship.
