Naked As A Jaybird

What happened to the design?

Unless it’s April 5, the headline of this post probably makes no sense. Fact of the matter is, unless your a designer that cares about web standards and accessibility, this headline probably makes no sense.

Basically, a loose collection of international designers and developers decided to have a CSS Get Naked day. We strip away all of the “design” from our sites, to show that they are compliant and understandable for those using browsers that don’t handle all the bells and whistles - like the kind used by people with disabilities.

I can’t pretend to be a leader in this, but I respect those that are. And that’s why, on April 5th - this site will be starkers.
To know more about why styles are disabled on this website visit the Annual CSS Naked Day website for more information.
